The world-famous Rhondda choir will be joined by acclaimed Welsh classical singer, actress and Bafta-award winning presenter Shan Cothi on stage at St David’s Hall on Sunday 9 July 2017.

Choir with 1 CopyAnother special feature of the concert is that three of Wales’ most famous male voice choirs will help to celebrate the special anniversary of their “comrades in song”.

Morriston Orpheus Choir, Pendyrus Male Choir and Cor Meibion Pontarddulais will join forces to provide the perfect setting for the celebrations.

The combined choirs represent some of the all-time giants of the Welsh male choral tradition stretching back more than a century.

The concert, which is supported by Specsavers Opticians, will also include The Chamber Orchestra of Wales, all under the leadership of Musical Director Jeffrey Howard. The Compere for the evening will be raconteur Dean Powell.
